Program Architect

Alison is the Program Architect of the Georgia Tech Library’s Communication Through Art program. This IMLS (Institute for Museum and Library Services) funded program provides a framework and support for projects such as Everyday Georgia. Since 2013, the Communication Through Art program has supported over 20 specialized initiatives that integrate art, library resources, special collections, multimedia and storytelling into campus culture. Alison holds a Masters in Library & Information Studies from Florida State University. She coordinates the Georgia Tech Library’s instruction program and has developed numerous educational programs that foster community engagement. She regularly teaches video editing, audio editing and visual design at Georgia Tech. When she isn’t teaching, she enjoys exploring nature and keeping her 35mm film camera collection active.
